Director Josh Trank's
Fantastic Four reboot has a big question mark hovering over its Baxter
Building. With the exception of cast, and release date not much is known about
the project, until now that is.
Schmoes Know are claiming that
Kate Mara's Sue Storm is the adoptive sister of Michael B. Jordan's Johnny
Storm.
"Well,
we have heard from our source that it is actually Mara’s Sue Storm who is
adopted in the film, with her and Michael B. Jordan’s parents being African
American."
They go on to
reveal how Marvel's First Family will get their superpowers in the film, and
hint they are not astronauts.
"In the
film, the team will gain their powers through a lab experiment gone wrong in a
way, where they create a portal to another world or dimension (its not clear)
and they get their powers after the exposure to this other dimension/planet."
Schmoes goes on
to say that the film will be "Very character driven",
with much of its focus going to the relationships between Sue Storm (Kate Mara),
Reed Richards (Miles Teller), Ben Grimm (Jamie Bell), Johnny Storm (Michael B.
Jordan), and Victor von Doom (Toby Kebbell).
From a script by
Simon Kinberg and story by Jeremy Slate, Fantastic Four hits theaters on Agust
7, 2015.
