It's a good day in Marvel-land.
Earlier this week the studio saw its worldwide box-office pass the $7 billion
mark, coming second only after the Harry Potter franchise, which has earned
over $7.7 billion.
The studio has the potential to
have its MCU become the highest grossing franchise of all time when Ant-Man,
and more importantly Avengers: Age of Ultron open next year, since the first
Avengers earned over $1.5 billion, speculation puts Avengers 2 at the $2
billion plus when it opens.
