It's San
Diego Comic-Con 2013. Man of Steel actor, Harry Lennix comes on stage, and
reads:
"I want you
to remember, Clark…in all the years to come…in your most private moments…I want
you to remember…my hand…at your throat…I want…you to remember…the one man who
beat you."
Fans start to go wild, and then the joined-logo
of Superman and Batman appears on the screen, and then fans really go wild.
Well that was then and this is now,
and now we know a few more things about the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of
Justice, like that Lennix will reprise his role of General Swanwick.
While speaking with Moviefone about
the upcoming second season of The Blacklist, Lennix was asked if he could offer
anything about the Batman v Superman.
"’Batman v Superman’ ...
[Laughs] Well, no. Anybody who's a fan of the '86 graphic novel "The Dark
Knight Returns," I think will be well pleased by that. This is a historic
event. Clearly, Zack Snyder is on the cutting edge of directing movies of this
scope and scale. I think you can depend on the acting -- you've got Amy Adams,
of course. You've got Henry [Cavill]. I don't think there are any surprises
with regard to that. What will happen remains to be seen. I'd probably wind up
in a box some place."
