Well DC is developing their tv
universe at a much faster pace than their cinematic one.
Per Deadline, Fox has given their
approval to a Lucifer pilot being developed by Californication creator Tom
Kapinos.
The show "centers
on Lucifer who, bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, resigns his throne and
abandons his kingdom for the gorgeous, shimmering insanity of Los Angeles,
where he opens an exclusive piano bar called Lux."
The character is
also being used for the adaptation of Neil Gaiman's Sandman comic by Joseph
Gordon-Levitt, with talks about a possible spin-off film.
