Deadline is reporting that The Carrie
Diaries star Austin Butler has joined the upcoming third season of The CW's
Arrow in a recurring role as Chase, a charismatic DJ who will catch the attention
of Thea Queen. According to the outlet, "their professional relationship
will quickly blossom into a romance."
Butler joins some
other new faces on the show, Brandon Routh as The Atom, J.R. Ramirez as
Wildcat, Rila Fukushima as Katana, Peter Stormare as Count
Vertigo, David Cubitt as Manhunter, Charlotte Ross as Felicity's
mother, Nolan Funk as Felicity's former boyfriend Cooper Seldon, Amy
Gumenick as Carry Cutter, aka Cupid, and Matt Nable as Ra's Al Ghul.
