The Flash To Air On Sky1 In The UK; New Banner

Sky1 will bring the Scarlet Speedster to the UK in an yet unconfirmed date, but based on experience I bet that there will be a one or two week delay between the UK premiere and the U.S., where it will premiere on October 7.

It's not a big surprise that the network adds the show to its schedule because it already airs Arrow, and both shows will have some crossovers during their upcoming season, in particular the two hour-event that will unfold on each shows eight episodes.

In addition, a banner first spotted on the floor of this year's SDCC has officially been released.

The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West, Jesse L. Martin as Detective West, Rick Cosnett as Detective Eddie Thawne, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Tom Cavanagh as Harrison Wells, and John Wesley Shipp as Dr. Henry Allen.

Actors Clancy Brown (General Wade Eiling), Robbie Amell (Firestorm), Wentworth Miller (Captain Cold), Robert Knepper (Clock King), Kelly Frye (Plastique), William Sedler (Simon Stagg), and Greg Finley (Tony Woodward/Girder) will join the show in future episodes.

The Flash Official Synopsis:
After a particle accelerator causes a freak storm, CSI Investigator Barry Allen is struck by lightning and falls into a coma. Months later he awakens with the power of super speed, granting him the ability to move through Central City like an unseen guardian angel. Though initially excited by his newfound powers, Barry is shocked to discover he is not the only “meta-human” who was created in the wake of the accelerator explosion — and not everyone is using their new powers for good. Barry partners with S.T.A.R. Labs and dedicates his life to protect the innocent. For now, only a few close friends and associates know that Barry is literally the fastest man alive, but it won’t be long before the world learns what Barry Allen has become…The Flash.
