It
looks like the ugly duckling of the Spider-Man movies, The Amazing
Spider-Man 2 had a bigger impact than anyone could have foreseen, as
according to Deadline, Sony is already developing another spin-off
movie, and is pushing it for a 2017 release.
According
to the trade, the new Spider-Man spin-off is of a female character,
and it is being written by Lisa Joy Nolan (Westworld). Avi Arad and
Matthew Tolmach are still attached to produce the spin-off that will
introduce Black Cat, or Silver Sable, or … who would you like it to
be?
