A new name has joined the list of
rumored contenders to receive the Eye of Agamotto from director Scott
Derrickson. It looks like Boardwalk Empire, and American Hustle star, Jack
Huston is being eyed to star as Stephen Strange, aka Doctor Strange in the
upcoming adaptation.
According to ThisIsFamous, Marvel
and the director are very close to chose the Sorcerer Supreme, and Huston has a
good chance of landing the role.
As always take it with a grain of
salt, or two as the site had previously claim that Jon Hamm had already been
cast for the role, despite the denials from the actor.
So far, Jared Leto, Tom Hardy,
Benedict Cumberbatch, Edgar Ramirez, and Joaquin Phoenix have been rumored to
be in the short-list to play Doctor Strange.
