FX
have unveiled the first teaser for the fourth season in Ryan Murphy's American
Horror Story series, Freak Show, which opens on October 8.
In
the new season, “a
troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange
emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and
freaks alike.” This season will tell the story of the “freaks” against
the backdrop of “the dying world of the American carny experience.”
Jessica Lange,
Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, Evan Peters, and Angela Basset return,
and welcome the newcomer to the show Michael Chiklis.
