Ever since Marvel announced the casting of Michael
Douglas for the role of the original Ant-Man, Hank Pym, those anticipating the
movie have wonder if there would be a intro, scene or scenes featuring a
younger Pym, and if so how would they go about doing it? I mean would they reverse
ageing Michael Douglas, or would they cast a completely new, and younger actor?
Well it looks like it may be a bit of both, as
according to Backstage Casting, Marvel is "looking for a
young Michael Douglas photo double circa "Wall Street," "Basic
Instinct" & "Fatal Attraction"."
So this means that they are not looking for an actor,
they are looking for a type of stand-in, who will (I assume) have a digital
face of Douglas on him, like Jeff Bridges in Tron Legacy.
