Hayley
Atwell is gearing up to start shooting the Marvel's Agent Carter series, which
she will follow up with a quick role on the highly anticipated Avengers: Age of
Ultron.
Speaking
with Entertainment Weekly, the actress revealed that her addition to Age of
Ultron came about during an evening with director Joss Whedon.
"We went out drinking
one night and he was like, 'You know, it would be great to write something for
you,'" she says. "And I was like, 'Yes, Joss, it would! It would be amazing!'"
At this
time it's unclear how her character will appear, if in her older-self, like in
Winter Soldier or in some kind of flashback, but back in April it was reported
that she, Chris Evans, and Paul Bettany, aka Vision, had filmed some scenes
inside London's Rivoli Ballroom, where there were several Lindy Hop dancing
extras.
Opening on May 1st, 2015, Avengers: Age of Ultron
stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Mark
Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, James Spader, Thomas Kretschmann, Aaron Taylor-Johnson,
Elizabeth Olsen, Cobie Smulders, Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, Andy Serkis,
and Josh Brolin (rumored to play/voice Thanos).
