While speaking to Total Film about his upcoming film,
Dwayne Johnson was asked what DC character he would like to play in the future.
While not directly answering, the actor revealed that, as we all knew, he and
DC have been talking for a while, and that an announcement will be made shortly
(maybe SDCC 2014?), but he goes on to say that the character has the power of
Superman and ends with a promising and revealing, "just say the word…"
- SHAZAM!?
If the previous rumors that a Shazam movie will drop in 2016 are true then this makes sense, besides I could see him playing the character.
