Speaking at Jeff Goldsmith's podcast, The Q&A with
Jeff Goldsmith, screenwriter and producer Simon Kinberg revealed a tidbit of
information about the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse. In a nearly 2 hour podcast,
Kinberg revealed at the hour and twelve minute mark that the "next movie
takes place 1983," ten years after Days of Future Past.
James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence,
Nicholas Hoult, and Evan Peters are expected to return. Channing Tatum is
expected to make his debut in the franchise as Gambit, as are the younger
Cyclops, Storm, Jean Grey. According to Kinberg, Scarlet Witch might appear.
