Director Jon Favreau's drops a spot, but still manages to cling on to the top 10 list after
eight weeks. In ninth place, and getting closer to that billion dollar mark is
director's Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past. The Crying Games, or should
I say, The Fault in Our Stars drops to eight. After the disastrous marketing campaign, director Doug Liman's Edge
of Tomorrow managed to not only not flop, but succeed, and sits in seventh.
Clint Eastwood's latest film is flying a bit under the radar in sixth. Angelina
Jolie's Maleficent is holding on in the middle of the board, while Kevin Hart's
comedy Think Like A Man Too takes a tumble from first to fourth.
In third, and outshining the first movie, is How To
Train Your Dragon 2.
In second is the Tatum/Hill combo, 22 Jump Street.
And in first, with an astonishing $ 300 million and change, is Michael Bay's nobrow, CGI
extravaganza, Transformers: Age of Extinction.
