Welcome to yet another Box Office Weekend, and to the
movies that made it to this weekend's top 10 chart.
Jon Favreau's big screen return, Chef and Nick
Stoller's rated-R comedy Neighbors, sit in tenth and ninth respectively. Seth
MacFarlane's western comedy A Million Ways to Die in the West took one hell of
a tumble from last weekend's chart, and is currently in eighth place. After its
initial success, the king of monsters seems to have slowed down, and is
currently in seventh place. X-Men: Days of Future Past, which is in sixth, not
only is the best entry in the franchise, but also the most successful. In the
middle is the mega tearjerker The Fault in our Stars. Tom Cruise's Edge of
Tomorrow seemed to be one of this year's flops, but is holding well in fourth.
Now for the top three.
Disney's Maleficent, starring Angelina Jolie wins
another medal, this time Bronze.
In second is the brilliant How to Train Your Dragon 2,
which was able to surpass the first movie in its opening weekend.
And in first, is the movie (almost) everyone was
looking forward too, 22 Jump Street. Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum are back and
this time they go undercover at a local college.
