Sources say to THR that actor Tim Blake Nelson is in
final talks to join the upcoming reboot of The Fantastic Four franchise.
According to the website, Nelson is up for the Harvey Elder, aka Mole Man role,
who was described as "an eccentric and socially awkward scientist".
THR also says, "Elder’s
appearance sets up the character to be the villain in future installments of
the franchise."
This isn't the first outing for the actor in a comic book based movie, as
in 2008 he appeared in The Incredible Hulk as Samuel Sterns, a.k.a The Leader.
If Nelson joins the movie, he will act opposite Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B.
Jordan, Jamie Bell, and Toby Kebbel.
