According to THR, actor Reg E. Cathey has been cast to
play Dr. Storm in the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot by Josh Tranks.
Has you might have guessed it, he will play Sue (Kate
Mara) and Johnny's (Michael B. Jordan father). Cathey is best known for his
roles as Dr. Santiago in Seven, Norman Wilson on The Wire and Freddy in House
of Cards.
At this time it seems that the new Fantastic Four will
follow the Ultimate run, which sees a Dr. Storm devoting his life to the Baxter
building Think Tank.
Also starring in Fantastic Four are Tim Blake Nelson
as Mole Man, Miles Teller as Mr. Fantastic, Jamie Bell as the Thing and Toby
Kebbel as Dr. Doom.
