Very early on in the Star Wars: Episode VII rumor mill, word had got out that Mark Hamill,
Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford were going to reprise their roles from the
original trilogy, but what we didn't knew was how big their roles were going to
be. Now according to Entertainment Weekly, Ford will have a far bigger role
then Hamill and Fisher.
But
the involvement of all three was considered so vital, George Lucas himself met
with them — including Ford — before the Disney sale to recruit their
participation. And he got it, along with vows to keep that hush-hush until the
appropriate time (less successful in Fisher’s case.) Even more significant, Han
Solo won't just be a walk-on. While Hamill and Fisher will boast strong
supporting parts, Ford will join three of the young stars as one of the leads
in the story, according to several sources close to the film. Bonus points to
anyone who gets to say to him, “She’s fast enough for you, old man.”
Star Wars: Episode VII stars Mark
Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny
Baker, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis,
Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow.
