Welcome to yet another Box Office Weekend, and let us
begin with Bryan Singer's masterful X-men: Days of Future Past, which lands on the
number spot with a ninety plus million premiere in the U.S. market, and a worldwide
total of two-hundred and sixty. Days of Future Past is followed by the king of
monsters at number two with a worldwide tally of three-hundred and change. In third,
its Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore's new comedy, Blended.
Neighbors, TASM 2, Million Dollar Arm, The Other Woman
and Rio 2 occupy the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth places. Jon
Favreau's indie Chef sits in ninth place, followed by Heaven is for Real in
tenth.
