Peter Weird's 1998 masterful comedy-drama The Truman
Show is being adapted to the small screen. News comes via The Wrap, who says
Paramount is developing the adaptation under their new division banner,
Paramount TV.
Directed by Weird from a brilliant script by Andrew
Niccol (Gattaca), the original film literally follows Truman Burbank (Jim
Carrey), a man that begins to realize that he has been inside a reality tv show
about him is entire life.
