Warner Bros. has set Guy Ritchie's re-imagining of King Arthur's legend for a July 22, 2016 release. Written by Joby Harold and influenced by Thomas Mallory's 1485 collection of tales Le Morte d'Arthur, Ritchie's King Arthur will be the director's next project after The Man from U.N.C.L.E., which is scheduled to be released on January 16, 2015, starring Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer, Alicia Vikander, Elizabeth Debicki, Hugh Grant, Luca Calvani and Jared Harris.
