Teaser Trailer For The Normal Heart Starring Mark Ruffalo, Matt Bomer, Taylor Kitsch, Jim Parsons and Julia Roberts

Earlier tonight, HBO released the first teaser trailer for Ryan Mruphy’s (Glee) adaptation of the largely autobiographical play by Larry Kramer, The Normal Heart, which follows the HIV/AIDS crisis in New York City in the early 1980’s and takes a look at the nation’s sexual politics as gay activists and the medical community fights to expose the truth about the epidemic.

I have mix feelings about Murphy, on the one hand he wrote Glee, Eat Pray Love, Popular and Nip/Tuck on the other he wrote Nip/Tuck, and American Horror Story, so it’s a very divisive body of work, I wonder which version of Murphy will we have.   

The Normal Heart stars Mark Ruffalo, Matt Bomer, Taylor Kitsch, Jim Parsons and Julia Roberts, and will air on HBO Sunday, May 25^th at 9pm.
