Marvel
Entertainment announced today that comedian Patton Oswalt will guest
star on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Agent Eric Koenig in an upcoming
episode of the series.
The
character was created by Stan Lee and Dick Ayers in 1966 and was part
of Sgt. Fury and His Howling Commandos #27. Koenig was a member of
Nick Fury's original team in World War II, but some changes will be
made to bring the character to the present time.
