When the first Matrix premiered
the world of entertainment was forever changed thanks to the great story and
characters, special effects, fight scenes and directing. The formula was then replicated
to less success with the two sequels, The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix
Revolutions. Despite the two less successful entries, the franchise managed to gross
$1.632 billion, so it doesn’t come as a surprise when I heard that Wachowskis
brothers are starting to work on a new trilogy.
According to the LR the Wachowskis
are working on a new Matrix trilogy, and they say:
“We’ve been told that the
Wachowski’s have already started the writing process with early treatments and
outlines already turned into the studio. No word if they will want to direct
but my money says “Claro que Si!”…
The derisive ending of the
original Matrix trilogy include the bearded Architect suggesting that Neo
wasn’t the first “One,” opening the story world for prequels."
Honestly at this time I’m
saturated with new trilogies, prequels, sequels, reboots and remakes. They are
all fine but in good measure, don’t do them just because. How about you, do you
want to see more the Matrix universe.
