Yesterday Joe Manganiello said that the Magic Mike sequel would start moving ahead this fall, and today news comes that Gregory Jacobs is attached to helm the sequel called...get ready... Magic Mike XXL, boom baby!
At one point it was rumored
that Channing Tatum and his writer/producer partner Reid Carolin were thinking
about co-directing, but given that Jacobs has been Steven Soderbergh's (executive
producer) first assistant director for a while now, it makes sense to bring him
on board.
