Actress Lupita Nyong’o, who
recently made a bit of history at this year’s Academy Awards by winning the
Best Supporting Actress with her first ever feature film, Steve McQueen’s 12
Years a Slave, is being eyed to star in J.J. Abrams’ upcoming Star Wars:
Episode VII. Latino Review and THR are both running the story that the actress
has recently met with the director.
Scripted by J.J. Abrams and
Lawrence Kasdan Star Wars: Episode VII is expected to hit theaters on December
18th, 2015.
