The
casting for The CW's next comic book adaptation continues and many
fans are already pointing out the obvious differences between the
source material created by Chris Roberson and Michael Allred and the
upcoming series.
While
talking at a Reddit AMA, Roberson was asked about the creative
liberties that the series is having.
"I've
read the script for the pilot, and it seems like it will make for
good television. The core concept is the same as our comic, but
they've used it as the basis for a new character and situation. I
very much look forward to seeing how it turns out!"
Rose
Mclver (Masters of Sex) is set to play the role of Liv "a
medical student-turned-zombie", Malcom Goodwin is playing police
detective Clive, Alexandra Krosney will play Liv’s best friend
Peyton and David Anders who will be the main antagonist Blain.
