According to Variety, Morgan
Creek Productions and Emmett Furla Films have set director John Singleton (Boyz
n the Hood, Shaft and 2 Fast 2 Furious) to helm the upcoming Tupac.
Tupac will center on the life of
the rapper, poet, actor and political activist Tupac Shakur who rose to fame
with 2Pacalypse Now.
