According to Deadline Yung will
play Hathor, the Egyptian Goddess of joy and motherhood, opposite Gerard
Butler, Geoffrey Rush, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Brenton Thwaites, Courtney Eaton
and Chadwick Boseman.
Yung is perhaps more recognizable
for her role as Tao in District 13: Ultimatum and as Jinx in G.I. Joe:
Retaliation.
Gods of Egypt tells the tale of
Bek (Thwaites) and God Horus (Coster-Waldau) who must join forces to remove the
God of Darkness Set (Butler) from Egypt’s throne, which he usurped.
Gods of Egypt hits theaters on
February 12, 2016.
