Marvel’s upcoming Ant Man movie
just got two new names added to their behind the scenes effort at bringing a
new superhero on to the big screen. Director Edgar Wright recently announced
that Bill Pope, who worked with Wright on Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and The
World’s End will be taking on the cinematography on the project and Steven
Price, who also worked with Wright on Scott Pilgrim vs. The World will be in
charge of creating the score for the film. Pope is no stranger to the superhero
genre as he has worked on Spider-Man 2 and 3. As for Price he’s just came from
winning the BAFTA for his work on Gravity.
So far Ant-Man stars Paul Rudd as
Scott Lang the new Ant-Man, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym the original Ant-Man
and maybe Evangeline Lilly as Pym’s daughter.
Ant-Man opens on July 17th,
2015.
