NBC has found in actress Zoe Saldana the lead for their upcoming miniseries Rosemary’s Baby, based on the novel of the same name by author Ira Levin.
According to Variety the actress
has been tapped to star in the project, which focuses on a young couple who
move into a apartment in Paris that has a “darkly storied past”. After getting
pregnant, “the woman becomes increasingly suspicious that her husband and their
mysterious neighbors have ulterior motives about the future of her child.”
James Wong (American Horror Story)
and Scott Abbott (Introducing Dorothy Dandridge) have been tapped to pen the
script.
