The new Star Wars installment,
directed by J.J. Abrams is certainly one of the most highly anticipated films
of 2015, so it’s understandable that anyone and everyone is trying to get in on
the action and be part the legacy and mythos that is Star Wars.
The latest round of news is that
actor Jesse Plemons, more known for his work as Landry Clarke in Friday Night
Lights and as Todd in Breaking Bad is being eyed for a lead role. There aren’t
any official statements so far but Plemons, who had sent an audition tape to
the director has now been called for a face to face audition with J.J. Abrams.
So far there aren’t any details
on either the story or characters but if one was to speculate one would say
that he could play the son of Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker.
Plemons also appeared in Simons
Pegg and Nick Frost’s sci-fi comedy Paul as well as in Paul Thomas Anderson’s The Master.
