First Image Of Bill Paxton In His Four Episode Stint In Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD

Tv Guide just released the first image of actor Bill Paxton as Agent John Garrett from an upcoming episode from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Paxton is reported to appear in four episodes of the Marvel series.

"We wanted to bring in a rough-and-tumble former cohort of Agent Coulson with a little bit of attitude and cigar-smoking swagger," said executive producer Jed Whedon.

Executive producer Maurissa Tancharoen then added, "He is the type who wants to stay out in the field no matter how high-level he gets."

Agent John Garrett made his comic book debut in Frank Miller and Bill Sienkiewicz's "Electra: Assassin," in which he was given some cybernetic upgrades after sustaining injuries in the line of duty.
