While the main villain in the upcoming The Avengers:
Age Of Ultron has its name in the title of the film, it seems that a new
villain is creeping up from behind with one or two things to say to our
superhero team, plus he will help introduce the superhero twins, Quicksilver (Aaron
Taylor-Johnson) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen).
According to three independent sources, Joss Whedon
will introduce the all-around bad guy Baron Wolfgang Von Strucker to the mix.
Strucker is a former Nazi soldier and one of H.Y.D.R.A.’s leaders, who has an
impressive healing factor and is almost invulnerable due to his physical
augmentations. According to the reports, in the film both Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch work
for Strucker, which Is interesting since both of them end up in the Avengers
team, at least in the comics. Also, according to the LR, Marvel is looking to
cast a “PHYSICALLY IMPOSING MAN, age range 40-50, Caucasian, for a supporting
role” and is eyeing both Dougray Scott and Marton Csokas.
