Joss Whedon must be extremely busy by now, preparing not only the Avengers: Age of Ultron, but also introducing three brand new characters, Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Ultron (James Spader) into the ensemble, while thinking that The Avengers had the highest opening weekend of all time and that it grossed $1.5 billion worldwide, things must be hectic at this time, and now it seems that a new/old character might be appearing in the film.
According to two different news outlets, actor Don
Cheadle is going to be making an appearance in the film, but probably not as
War Machine/Iron Patriot. BC says that the actor, who plays Colonel James Rhodes in Iron Man
2 and 3 will be appearing, while USA Today says they have confirmation that
Cheadle has a part in the sequel. Cheadle’s character probably won’t be having
much of screen time but what he probably has is some integral role to play in
the development of the story, perhaps something related to the origin story of
Ultron?
At this time there aren’t many details about the
project, except that production is set to begin in March of next year.
