With production set to begin next year and with some casting left to do, it seems that the studio thinks there is enough time to brush up the script before things start rolling, so they hired a new screenwriter to touch up the first draft that was written by David S. Goyer.
According to THR, Oscar winning screenwriter Chris
Terrio (Argo) was brought up by Warner Bros. to polish the Goyer’s draft, which
will introduce for the first time Superman (Henry Cavill), Batman (Ben Affleck)
and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) in the same live action feature film.
Batman vs. Superman opens in 2015 and also stars Amy
Adams, Diane Lane and Laurence Fishburne.
