Batman vs. Superman is one of the most anticipated movies of 2015, mainly because Superman and Batman will be for the first time ever be sharing some screen time together. The stakes got a little bit higher recently when it was announced that not only the Wonder Woman rumors were true but also that the part had already been cast by the Fast & Furious actress Gal Gadot.
While promoting David O’Russell’s American Hustle,
actress Amy Adams, who plays Lois Lane in the film, was asked when did she
learned that Wonder Woman was going to be part of the film, and interestingly
the actress seemed actually surprised to learn from the news outlet that Wonder
Woman would be appearing in the film.
Also while promoting O’Russell’s American Hustle,
another news outlet asked the actress if the appearance of Wonder Woman in the
film (like in the Superman/Wonder Woman comics where Superman and Wonder Woman
are a couple) could lead to a love triangle between her (Wonder Woman),
Superman and Lois Lane, and if that was the case, would that interest the
actress.
"Am I interested? I don’t know. I mean, we’ll
see. I hope that I can be involved with a woman on screen where we’re not in a
love triangle. That would be fun. Maybe where we team up together and we work
as teammates instead of adversaries."
Batman vs. Superman opens in 2015 and stars Henry
Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck, Diane Lane and Laurence Fishburne.
