The Daily Bugle viral tumblr page is a gift that keeps
on giving. This time the official site hints at yet another villain that we
might see in the sequel, Shocker.

The NYPD are the city’s greatest heroes, but sometimes
even heroes are left scratching their heads. For instance, when $200,000 goes
missing from the armored vault at G.K. Mason Bank.
Detective Stan Carter of the NYPD Major Crimes Unit
was on scene to comment, stating, ”There’s still a lot we don’t know, but it
looks like some kind of sustained vibration literally shook the door off its
hinges and ripped the walls apart in the process.” Security cameras inside the
bank were damaged upon the immediate forced entry of the robber, denying police
a clear view of the perpetrator or the means of rupturing the vault.
When asked if the NYPD had concerns that the nature of
the crime might indicate heightened super-human activity, Carter said, “There’s
no evidence to point to that yet. When we catch him, we don’t expect anything
more than a common crook with a clever toy.”

In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew
Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and
spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school
graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise
he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise
he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro
(Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and
Peter uncovers new clues about his past.
