Michael Bay Drops Some Details About Hong Kong In Transformers: Age of Extinction

Director Michael Bay has been dropping some interesting bits of information around different news outlets and here are some that BC has compiled.

From the South China Morning Post, Bay says, “We are not destroying Hong Kong,” but he also spoke about their Hong Kong set in Detroit and how they destroyed it: “There was a lot of dynamite.”

When asked if Hong Kong would serve as some sort of refugee camp for the Autobots, Bay said: “I can’t tell you how they get here," he then added, "They are not rescuing Hong Kong but definitely rescuing something.”

From Seibertron comes more in depth news about one of the Hong Kong locations; "a heroic turning point scene, which takes place after the fall of Hong Kong." The website then expends, and say "A group of Transformers will meet up with another group Transformers where they battle their way out of a crater (Wulong Karst is known for it’s sink holes) that was apparently created by a crashed starship. After the Wulong Karst battle they return to Hong Kong."

Could this “group of Transformers” be the fan favorites Dinobots? It would certainly be possible.
