Per Deadline Millennium Films has tapped House at the
End of the Street director, Mark Tonderai to helm the updated remake of George
A. Romero 1985 zombie flick Day of the Dead, which followed the life’s of
military officers and scientists that live in an underground bunker during the
zombie apocalypse.
The new film takes place “years after the zombie
plague has wiped out most of Earth’s population” and will focus on a group of
scientists and survivors, who try to find a cure for the zombie pandemic but
end up opening a Pandora’s Box.
