The next
Star Wars animated series, Star Wars Rebels just got itself a brand new
villain, the Inquisitor, who will be hunting down the last remaining Jedi after
the Empire took over the Senate.
The
revealed was made today at the New York Comic Con, when after the Star Wars
panel, a video popped up and showed the series executive producer Dave Filoni
officially announce the character, who is "tasked by Darth Vader to hunt down
the remaining Jedi Knights.” The video also showed design sketches and
sculptures.
The
series takes place 14 years after the end of Episode III, in a time where the
Empire is pretty well established and is looking to expand to the Outer Rim
territories.
