Now
that The Immigrant premiered, director James Gray is ready to start working on
his next feature film, the sci-fi thriller To the Stars, which takes place in
the near future and is about a group of astronauts who go on a mission to
through the Solar System bring a renegade colonist back to Earth. Gray
describes the film as it being “Apocalypse Now in space”.
Gray
co-wrote the script with Ethan Goss from Fringe and plans to start shooting
mid-2014 with casting to be announced later on this year.
