Some
months ago Sony announced that they were moving forward with an Amazing
Spider-Man 3 and 4 films. Today it was announced that the studio has hired the
trio of screenwriters from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Alex Kurtzman, Roberto
Orci and Jeff Pinkner to pen the script for the third installment in the
Amazing Spider-Man franchise.
Per
HV, the trio of writers is expected to return to the franchise, and the hopes
are that director Marc Webb who helmed the first and the upcoming second
installments in the rebooted franchise will return.
In
the next installments the Sinister Six (Doc. Ock, Vulture, Electro, Kraven the
Hunter, Mysterio, and Sandman – Original 6) are rumored to be the main villains
in the story.
