It has been unofficially officialized that director Timur Bekmambetov (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) will be indeed helming the new feature film adaptation of the 1880’s novel Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ by author Lew Wallace.
Ben-Hur
won’t be the only biblically inspired film to be released in the upcoming
years, there is Darren Aronofsky’s Noah and Ridley Scott’s Exodus.
