There have also been some rumors that the actor has been having some meetings, for the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII, and today it seems that the actor is being eyed for the lead role in the upcoming Roland Emmerich sequel Independence Day 2.

News that the actor is being considered for the role aren’t exactly shocking, since not only is he a good actor is a wide variety of genres already in his back pocket, but the film is supposedly set 20 years after the first film, and is to follow the child of Will Smith and Vivica A. Fox.
