X-Men:
Days of Future Past marks the return of director Bryan Singer to the helm of
the X-Men franchise, and with that comes some changes to the characters. One of
those changes is the character Mystic, who apparently changed a little bit from
First Class.
In a
recent interview to SFN, academy award winner, Jennifer Lawrence talked about
her character make-up and the differences in design between First Class and Days
of Future Past.
“I’m
naked. But when I do get to wear clothes, I love the ’70s outfits. Some of the Mystique look is a little
different, but we’re still using the same paint.”
The
actress also spoke about Mystic beliefs, now that she is standing at Magneto’s
side:
“But
she’s different in this film too. She was struggling – like a lot of normal
humans – with the way she looked, and she was covered up a lot in the first
movie, but this time she is Mutant and proud.”
