Yesterday
he posted that there was a rumor regarding actor Benedict Cumberbatch and the
upcoming J.J. Abrams Star Wars: Episode VII. The rumor stated that the reason
why the actor left Guillermo del Toro’s Crimson Peak was so he could be in the
next Star Wars installment, which will begin production roughly at the same
time.
Today
according to a report in BD, the actor is up for the role of a Sith, which also
according to the site will be the main villain throughout the whole new
trilogy.
At this
point it is still a rumor and there hasn’t been any official confirmation,
quite the opposite, there are representatives from the film, denying the involvement
of Cumberbatch in it, the only problem is that these are the same reps that denied
that Cumberbatch was going to play Khan in Star Trek Into The Darkness, so...yeah.
The
shooting for J.J Abrams Star Wars: Episode VII is schedule to begin on January
21st, 2014.
