Actress
Milla Jovovich (Chaplin, Dazed and Confused, The 5th Element, Joan
of Arc, Zoolander and Resident Evil) is tackling the role of the Queen in
Michael Almereyda’s take on the Shakespeare classic Cymbeline.
Jovovich
will co-star with Ethan Hawke, Ed Harris and Penn Badgley.

Playing
the Queen, Milla Jovovich was most recently seen reprising her role as ‘Alice’
in the fifth installment of the Sony Screen Gems RESIDENT EVIL franchise. The
films have become the longest running franchise with a female lead and have
collectively brought in US$915 million at the worldwide box office. Other film roles include THE FIFTH ELEMENT
and STONE.
