Marvel
Studios President Kevin Feige recently talked about the studio’s plans for the
future and although he didn’t go into details, he said that they have all their
movies planned out until the year 2021.
In the
interview to Wired, Feige said that they are more than five characters and five
franchises and that they have much more to offer.
“Five
years ago, looking at our plan, we knew that if Avengers was going to work, the
movies had to stand alone. Now we have to prove to the studio that we’re more
than just these five characters, these five franchises.”
Feige
then went on to say that although they officially released the movie schedules
until 2017, they have everything ready for at least 2021
“I
could arguably say what we’re planning for the year 2021. Will that happen? I
don’t know. But what we planned for 2015 in 2006 is happening.”
