Some time ago there was a rumor that Breaking Bad's actor Bryan Cranston was being eyed as the new Superman main baddie Lex Luther, for the upcoming Man of Steel sequel. Today acording to CBN, the actor as signed on to play the iconic villain in the new movie. CBN described the signing as “Nick Fury-style 6-film deal”.
If
the rumor is true, and according to CBN they are only waiting for
confirmation, Cranston will be the second new face in the franchise,
after Ben Afleck's Batman role.

Damon is still being courted to play either Aquaman or Martian
Manhunter.
